Lasting change starts from within —

your higher self knows the way.

Relational therapy in Arvada, CO

RELATIONAL THERAPY THAT HELPS YOU

build strong relationships without losing yourself

You care about your relationship, but something keeps getting in the way.

  • conversations turn into arguments.

  • one of you shuts down while the other pushes harder.

  • you feel distant, like you’re living parallel lives instead of actually connecting.

Or maybe you’re the one who:

  • overthinks everything yet struggles to say what you feel.

  • gets told you’re “closed off” or hard to read.

  • wants to be a better partner but doesn’t know how to get there.

You’re not broken. You’re stuck in a pattern. And patterns can change.

Relational therapy in Arvada, CO

Welcome! I’m glad you’re here.

Life can sometimes leave us feeling disconnected, overwhelmed and off course.

As a therapist, I believe in the power of reconnecting with your higher self - the wise, authentic part of you who knows your deepest needs, desires, and potential.

Whether you’re coming in on your own or with a partner, my goal is to help create a supportive space for insight, healing and meaningful change.

Together, we’ll slow things down, quiet the noise and explore what’s happening beneath the surface, so you can move toward greater clarity, emotional safety and alignment - within yourself and your relationships.

Therapy with me is active, structured, and relational.

We don’t just talk about problems, we work directly with what’s happening in the moment.

In your first few sessions, we’ll:

  • Identify the patterns that keep showing up in your life or relationships

  • Understand how you respond under stress or conflict

  • Clarify what you actually want to change

From there, sessions focus on helping you:

  • Catch reactions as they happen

  • Practice new ways of communicating and responding

  • Build emotional awareness and regulation skills

  • Strengthen your ability to stay grounded and connected

THERAPY FOR BEHAVIOR CHANGE

Are your habits beginning to worry you or the people who care about you? When you are reaching for substances beyond casual use, it may be time to talk with someone.

You don’t have to navigate this alone.

If you’re ready for more clarity, stronger relationships, and a different way of showing up, therapy can help you get there. Getting started is simple:

  1. Book a free consultation call. I offer a free 20-minute video call for you to ask any questions you may have about getting started and to help you feel confident that I am the right support for you. If during or after this time you decide you’re in need of something else, I can help you find an alternative provider. Reach out today for your consultation.

  2. Schedule your first session. During our consultation call, we’ll go over logistics, including finding a time that works for your schedule and a cadence that works for your budget.

  3. Begin building awareness, skill and momentum. In our sessions, I integrate approaches like Relational Life Therapy (RLT), attachment-based work, and evidence-based emotional regulation strategies to help create change that actually sticks.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Therapy is helpful for anyone feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected - whether in your relationships, emotional life, or personal habits. If you notice recurring conflict, stress, anxiety, difficulty expressing emotions, or struggles with substance use, therapy can provide guidance, support, and practical tools to create meaningful change.

  • Your first session is an opportunity to share your story, explore your goals, and get a sense of how therapy will work. I’ll ask questions to understand your history, relationships, and current challenges. Together, we’ll create a plan that feels tailored to you.

  • My rate for 50-minute sessions is $135 for individuals and $155 for couples/families.

Access to mental health services is important to me. To make therapy more accessible, I offer a limited number of sliding scale spots for those in financial need.

  • Your Higher Self, PLLC operates on a self-pay basis and currently does not accept insurance. There are benefits to seeing an out-of-network therapist, including increased privacy and control over your therapeutic goals.

While I don’t accept your insurance directly, your plan may have out-of-network (OON) benefits, which means your insurance will reimburse you for a large portion of our session cost.

If you do have OON benefits, I have partnered with Thrizer to handle the out-of-network process automatically for you.

  • Most clients start with weekly sessions, though we can adjust based on your needs and schedule. The length of therapy depends on your goals - some see meaningful change in a few months, while others benefit from ongoing support to build deeper skills and resilience.
